How long will it take for my purchase to arrive?

Your purchase (on disk) should arrive in about one week. We ship within three business days after order receipt via USPS First Class, whose claim is three days cross-country.

Are there installation recommendations?

Installer must have Administrative privileges for the installation workstation.

Installing directly from the CD works; however, any repairs or uninstalls require the CD in the drive (ever misplace a program disk?)

Therefore, we recommend you copy the install package from the CD to your hard drive (the WINDOWS\Temp directory works well).

Where are all the documents located?

With version 1.2, you may now access all Laboratory Service Manual section documents from an Input Data form within the ExpressManual program.

For all other included documents:

  • If you chose the default install, ExpressManual™ installs to C:\Program Files\CLMDS. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to that directory, where folders appropriately categorize all included documents.
  • If you chose a custom install and cannot remember where you chose to install, use Search to find it.

How does the program Activation work?

When we ship your purchased System, you receive also a letter which includes logon IDs and codes. Keep this in a safe place. Should you lose it, Contact Us and we will resend (we keep records).

At first program logon, an Input Box field requires an Unlock Code. Above this field is a Serial Number (##########) with our toll-free phone number. To send this Serial Number, you may use:

  1.  Our phone number
  2. The Contact Us page of our website
  3. Our e-mail, support@clmds.com

to request an Unlock Code. Upon receipt of your request, we will e-mail your Unlock code, usually within 24 hours.

Please Note:

  • Unlock Code installer must have Administrative privileges for the installation workstation.
  • Since the generated Serial Number is unique for each computer, each installation requires a unique Unlock Code (see Additional Licenses).

Why does the Filter by Form not work?

Absent MS Access 2002/2003 on your computer, ExpressManual™ uses Access Runtime. Due to Runtime and *.mde file restrictions, this useful feature will be unavailable to the user.

Must I uninstall the System Trial before installing a purchased System?

Technically no; however, we recommend you do so to avoid confusion.
